I tell every client before they get on my table you won't ever hurt my feelings with honest feedback. This is YOUR time to 'zen out' and it's my job (and my joy) to help you do that. If something is not working for you just let me know and I'll be happy to do what I can to change it for you. With RelaxPDX you will never get a 'cookie cutter' massage. My favorite part of being a massage therapist is figuring out exactly what each person needs and doing my best to give them that. For some people it's an hour of blissful relaxation and silence, for others it's a professional who can help them manage their pain. Because I truly do love my work and I truly do care about giving each person the best massage I possibly can, I consistently get “5 star” ratings from clients. Worth every penny! Kirstin is a miracle worker. I have developed chronic upper back and neck pain from the countless hours I spend being stressed out, hunched over a desk studying and carrying heavy textbooks. Soooo Relaxed, What can I say? It was the most relaxing massage I've ever had. I've had plenty of other swedish style massages but they always seem to miss spots on my lower back and in my shoulders. Kirstin spent extra time on the areas I identified prior to the massage and it paid off, I'll definitely be going back.

Kirstin is a savior! After just two massages I am much more flexible and have more mobility in my shoulder after having it reconstructed twice in the last year. Physical Therapy is great, but it doesn’t get to the places that Kirstin does. Even my Physical Therapist noticed the improvement. I am going back.

Kirstin Davis is my fourth massage therapist in the Portland area in less then a year and I have finally found one worth going back too. She got deep into the tissue where the knots were and applied the pressure necessary to make them go away. After only a 90 minute session, I got up the next day much more flexible and less sore than before the session. Thanks, I will be back.

Kirstin is amazing! She came in on a day off, and at amazingly short notice, in order to help me with a Bursitis issue. I had been unable to sleep for 2 days, but after a 90 minute session, the pain was gone and I was 100% improved. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for pain relief or even just general relaxation time. She is amazingly talented, and so willing to go out of her way to take care of her clients!

Kirstin is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a massage therapist, professional, talented, & friendly. She took plenty of time to understand exactly what it is that I wanted in a massage & I had a good time picking out my aroma and music. Kirstin was amazing. She loves her job and it shows by how comfortable she makes you. The temperpedic table was so warm and comfy. You pick the playlist from several selections she offers along with what aromas you want. She is very helpful and friendly when you arrive then is completely silent during the massage for max-relax mode.

I was pleasantly surprised at how rejuvenating my massage was. Kirstin evaluated my ailments and then prescribed the perfect massage, taking me thru a sometimes-challenging range of motion and then tapering off with a lighter massage. I'm hopeful that she'll be able to alleviate some of the hip and back issues I've been having.

I recently moved to Portland I needed to find someone right away to help relieve the headaches I get every month (hormone related). I did not have time to get a referral so I just looked online and saw that RelaxPDX / Kirstin advertised a 'headache remedy massage'. W00t! I was very excited to see what she could do to help me.
Not only does she have experience relieving headaches she also has a special scented oil that is formulated to help calm them. Just 10 minutes into my first session with her I knew I had found my angle! First off, she knew (without me having to tell her) that people with pounding headaches don't want to lay face down. Her table is so snuggly and warm I swear I started to relax before she even got in the room. After some long strokes on my shoulders and arms, she started doing this pressure point thing on my head and along the back of my neck. It was AMAZING. I actually fell asleep! At the end of the session my headache was completely gone.
Not only did she give me the best massage I've ever had she actually put some of that scented oil on a cotton ball so I could take home with me just in case my headache came back!
Her prices at $65 (well $55 if you are new) are normal for massage BUT when you take into account the heated massage table, the aromatherapy scents, and the other fancy stuff that's included with the massage it's really a steal. I've paid twice that at a spa and gotten less luxury (and certainly not nearly the talent).
Ohhhh, and ladies she has hair bands and combs and product in her bathroom free for clients to use. Very nice for me because I'd I DEFINITELY had "massage hair" when I was done!

Wonderful, relaxing massage. Kirstin's heated table warms you up even before the massage starts. The added warmth of the hot stones is soothing and relaxing on a damp, Portland day. The location is convenient for SW Portlanders to.

I got a gift of $50 to spend on any massage therapist of my choice, and I settled on Kirstin Davis of RelaxPDX because she was close by and utilized Google for advertising (what can I say, I'm in the industry). My entire experience was a pleasant one, from the ease to setting an appointment online to the absolute focus she put on my comfort (I can select the aromas, the music and the areas of my body that need more attention). Best of all, she spent a full hour on the massage - not 50 minutes. And, again, her attention the entire time was on my comfort. I highly recommend her, and I'm very likely to return! Thanks Kirstin!

I am very impressed with Kirstin. She was awesome! She is so great to work with and extremely professional. From her massage table which was extremely comfortable, to her scented lotions and heated massage cream for those achy muscles, to her very professionally set up massage room. I highly recommend her if you are having a problem like I was with a very stiff neck. She is friendly and very considerate of your needs to help you to recover. She made sure she gave me an hour massage even after taking time to talk to me before and make sure I was at ease.
